Sometimes I see people in their 40s saying “I’m too old to try new things”.
It might have been true 50 years ago. But now, you need to expect you’ll live until 100 and work until 80.
So I asked chatGPT to convert age into baseball innings – if you’re age x, professionally speaking, which inning are you in? (I assumed 25 and 80 as the start/end years)
If you’re 28 – you’re in the first inning.
If you’re 40 – you’re in the third inning.
If you’re 50 – you’re in the fifth inning.
And we all know baseball really starts in the bottom of the 9th inning, with two outs and two strikes 🙂
