2016 was the year of video:
- Mark Zuckerberg said this in February 2016: “Most of the content 10 years ago was text, and then photos, and now it’s quickly becoming videos… I just think that we’re going to be in a world a few years from now where the vast majority of the content that people consume online will be video.”
- Tiktok launched in the US in September 2016.
If you can go back to 2015, you should start a video platform related business 🙂
What will be the thing in 2026? We don’t know yet, but whatever it might be, it will be huge.
