Heard this from two different sources:
- More people than ever are jumping into starting their own app companies, drawn by AI development and the hashtag#solopreneur movement (think: dentists, MBA students, interior designers, you name them)
- Many of them are non-technical and are turning to dev agencies to build out an MVP
- Dev agencies hate them because these people often don’t know what they’re talking about. They confuse “pie in the sky”, super vague product “dreams” with spec docs
Non-technical aspiring founders: It’s best to learn how to build a product yourself; next best is at least learn how to define product specs really tight, so that other people can build it for you.
