I recently met a founder who had to shut down his company, and asked what he regrets the most.
He said – absolutely nothing.
Because he knows he did his absolute best. He poured in 120% of effort every single day, 24/7. He put everything on the field. Along the way, he learned so many things that no school in the world can teach. He’s walking away from his startup not much in his hands, but with pride, his head held high.
You can’t control the outcome of your startup. There are so many unknown factors you can’t control, such as the macro market – some call it luck. But what you can control is putting everything on the field every day, and staying mentally and emotionally strong.
