Next time you talk to your team members, just think about the chance you’re part of the same team right now. The chances are so small that the only way you can explain is “the universe put you together”.
Think of an NFL team (congrats, Chiefs!). Each team has a roster of 53 players. The chance that the particular set of players are on the same team in a particular season would be (1/32) ^ 53 = 1.6867517e-80. Super infinitesimal. The universe put them together.
This probability is calculated with the finite total set of ~1700 players in the league; throw in the chance of how a player could be an NFL player in the first place, and the probability of being on the same team become even much smaller.
The same goes for companies and organizations. Think about the mathematical chance your team is here together today. The universe put you together. Don’t waste the chance or take anything for granted.
