It’s remarkable how much someone’s impression of a company can be shaped by their recruiting team.
I won’t name them, but my friend told me: of all the AI companies he recently interviewed with, only this one company left a bad taste in his mouth.
Their recruitnig team was cocky, secretive, and constantly trying to “suss him out”.
They might be a hot company right now, but that doesn’t give their recruiting team license to be arrogant. Their poor recruiting does a big disservice to the many well-intentioned people in other parts of the company.
So recruiters, please treat people with respect, regardless of hiring decisions!
